Overnight weekday closures: 8pm until 6am Monday to Friday in Phases 4 to 6.
Weekend road closures are planned in Phases 1 and 2 as follows:
8pm Friday 17th July to 6am Monday 20th July 2020 in Phase 2 only WEEKEND CLOSURE NOW CANCELLED 15/7/2020 – Please note works and closure are in place between 8pm Friday 17th and 6am Saturday 18th July.
8pm Friday 31st July to 6am Monday 3rd August 2020 – Final planned weekend closure

I am writing to advise you about overnight road closures needed for us to install temporary roadworks. The roadworks will be three narrower traffic lanes between junctions 15 and 16. We will need to remove the existing road markings, and install temporary signs, temporary road markings and temporary steel traffic barriers along the motorway verges.
We will be carrying out the overnight road closures on the dates below. Please note these dates are subject to change, as they may be affected by factors outside of our control. such as adverse weather or incidents on the road. Drivers are asked to follow the signed diversion routes during these closures.
Sat 4th July 10pm to 6am – M1 Full Closure Junction 15 to 16 Northbound Sun 5th July 10pm to 6am – M1 Full Closure Junction 15 to 16 Northbound

The top end of Furnace Lane at the railway bridge will be closed for the day on Sunday 12th July.
“Centurion Site Services have requested a closure either side of the Network Rail structure on Furnace Lane in Nether Heyford. The closure is to allow the safe undertaking of a structural bridge inspection and it is expected to take place for one day on the 12th July 2020.” Northamptonshire Highways
Diversion is via Weedon Road & Heyford Lane up to the Narrow Boat pub on Stowe Hill.
