Heyford Athletic Football Club

1338392228

Heyford run 2 senior sides in the Northants Combination League with the 1st team in the Premier Division and the Reserves in Division 3.

There is also a fully established Youth set up consisting of U7 (Minis), U10, U13, U15 and U16 teams that play on either Saturday mornings or Sunday morning and afternoons.

Jeff Buck stood down at the end of last season as chairman following his 5 year tenure. Back in 2012 the club was in a mess both on and off the pitch with very little money and close to folding. Jeff took over as chairman and under his leadership the club has been re built. He leaves it in a very healthy position on and off the pitch and also financially stable.

The 1st team has established it’s self back in the Premier division supported by the Reserves with both sides having won their respective league knock out cups.

The youth section has grown with 5 age groups and hopefully more to come once the new field by the allotment is up and running.

Gary McMahon has taken over as the new chairman.
